Michelle Lynch founded EnviroSmart in 2001. With a masters degree in counseling and a background in management at an environmental engineering firm, Ms. Lynch saw an opportunity to build a company that focused on two of her favorite things: people and the environment. She has grown EnviroSmart into an award winning environmental and facilities services company with high employee satisfaction and low turn over. In accomplishing the goal of establishing a successful business, Ms. Lynch has been enabled to pursue her passion for helping children around the world who have been abused both emotionally and physically.
Mr. Michael Costa is a Registered Environmental Manager (REM) and Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) with a very diverse background in the environmental consulting and federal contracting markets, including experience working as an Environmental Risk Manager for major financial institutions and strategic Environmental Program Manager for large scale Brownfield redevelopment projects across the Southeast. He has more than 13 years of management experience with a Bachelor of Science degree from Radford University located in Virginia. Mr. Costa is responsible for the leadership and strategic growth planning at EnviroSmart, as well as directing daily activities of large technical teams in order to excel and achieve company objectives. He administers the operational systems, processes and policies in support of customer missions including improved management reporting, information flow, and organizational planning.
Our technical resources and professional management team consists of approximately 150 full time employees dedicated to both commercial and federal business/contract opportunities throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast Regions. Our principal office is located in Charleston, South Carolina with satellite offices located in Laurel, Maryland; Golden Pond, Kentucky; Raleigh, North Carolina; Lexington, South Carolina; and Albany, Georgia.
Our Team of professionals includes Registered Environmental Managers, Certified Federal Contract Managers, Safety Specialists, Professional Geologists, Certified Hazardous Materials Managers, Wastewater Treatment Operators, Response and Construction Managers, Heavy Equipment Operators, Laborers, Project Managers and Environmental Technicians.
